This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the KnockKnockGO! platform and website at knockknockgo.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information you provide, such as name, email, phone number, company name, and role.
- Field and CRM data entered by users, such as addresses knocked, dispositions, lead details, and appointments.
- Location data from a device (with permission) to place pins and verify visits while the app is in use.
- Usage and device data, such as log data, device type, and app activity, to operate and improve the Service.
- Contact information of homeowners/customers that our business users add to their own accounts.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- To send account, transactional, and service notifications.
- To provide customer support and respond to requests.
- To enable text messaging features that our business users choose to use with their own customers (see below).
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
SMS / Text messaging & mobile data
No mobile opt-in data is sold or shared. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in, or consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with the messaging service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messages you or our business users have requested.
If you consent to receive text messages from a business using KnockKnockGO! (for example, appointment confirmations from a contractor), message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can get help by replying HELP. Opting out stops further messages from that sender. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Platform notifications sent by KnockKnockGO! to our own users about their account are covered by the same protections above.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with: (a) service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations (for example, hosting, email, and messaging providers); (b) our business users, who control the customer data in their own accounts; and (c) authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety. Business users are responsible for how they use their customers' information.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Business users may delete records in their accounts; deleted data is removed on a rolling basis.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
Your choices
- You can update account information or request deletion by contacting us.
- You can disable device location permission at any time in your device settings.
- You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
